I've found this headset to be durable (dropped it several times from my ear to the floor or pavement already with no apparent damage), excellent quality sound, easy to link with my cellphone, easy to use with my cellphone and I often forget I'm wearing it. It's great and I got a great deal.
As to comfort, I do not wear my headset constantly, but it fits in my ear well during a normal length call. For me, sound quality was the number 1 consideration and the S-800 delivers in spades for a fraction of the cost of the high-end models. All in all, I'm very happy with this headset and, at a sub-$15 price point, I think it sounds better than the Jawbone. I just upgraded from a Motorola H505 where I had to scream to get other people to hear me. With the S-800, I can literally speak just above a whisper and I come out crystal clear on the other end. I also use the optional ear-loop for a more secure grip and love the fact that the loop is metal, and not cheap breakable plastic like the ones on Samsung headsets. The biggest selling point was this review that I found:[.].The review is thorough, well-written, and you can actually hear recordings of what the headset sounds like to other people in noisy situations.
overall I am very satisfied with the Cardo. The sound quality is consistently good, but the real benefit of this headset is the buttons that allow for speed dialing the 3 most commonly called people as well as redialing and voice activated address book. I've been using bluetooth headsets for several years now and have been happy with some and not so with others. The new Cardo at a very low price of $16 is the best by far. There is even a method for finding the misplaced headset by use of turning the volume up and down on the cellphone, and in response the headset lets its location be known by sound, but I haven't yet tried this.
Too bad. The "wirehanger" hook is actually pretty comfortable and I loved it's simplicity. Highly recommend the Jabra. I was excited to receive this since it had so much promise, but it wouldn't even charge. I did put it on my ear and kept it on for about 30 minutes. I got a Jabra BT8040 Bluetooth Headset instead.
Buy a couple. This has to be the best value in a headset there is.My last headset was the very small expensive Jabra, BT800 or something for about $120. This headset is an absolute steal at the price.Only two problems.Whenever you turn it on, the volume is set at full loudness, which is really loud, and you have to toggle the dial 6 or seven times to get the volume down to a manageable level. Also, the earpiece is slightly too larage for my ear, and tends to slide out, but no big deal. and this Cardo is much better.
